Keto Recipes With Only 2 Ingredients
Keto Mousse
Pretty much every keto home has some heavy cream in the refrigerator. Pick up some sugar-free Jello pudding, combine it with the heavy cream in place of the milk the box calls for, and you have the richest, yummiest mousse ever.
The trick to making it super fluffy is to freeze the beaters of your mixer as well as the bowl. Once they’re chilled, pour in the heavy cream, add the pudding mix, and beat together until it forms stiff peaks.
I predict this will be a Keto dessert you go to again and again.
Faux Pasta
Do you have cream cheese and eggs? Add a nice DIY alfredo sauce or prepared low-carb spaghetti sauce and this quick and easy “pasta” could be your supper tonight.
Blend 1 ounce of cream cheese and two eggs well and spread it into a greased 8x8 pan. Add any seasonings you like. I’m a fan of garlic salt.
Bake at 325, watching it closely until it’s set. It should take about 5 to 10 minutes.
Let it cool in the pan, carefully remove it with a spatula and place it on a sheet of parchment paper.
Using a sharp knife cut it in thin slices the width of a noodle. Cover it with your sauce of choice and don’t say you weren’t warned when you become addicted!
Keto Cheese Crackers
Everyone raves about these 2 ingredient keto cheese crackers, and for good reason. Giving up cheese crackers can be hard, so it’s little wonder that a great substitute helps you stay on track.
Preheat your oven to 375, combine 1 cup almond flour with 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese until it forms a dough. Roll it out on parchment paper and cut into small squares. Place the parchment paper on a cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
Grab them quick before everyone in the house finds out about them!
Bacon Wrapped Mozzarella Cheese Sticks
Freezing pre-packaged mozzarella sticks for a few hours and pre-cooking the bacon just long enough to rid it of some of the grease are the secrets to one of the most tempting keto snacks ever.
With paper towels, soak up as much fat from the pre-cooked bacon as possible. Cut the cheese sticks in half and wrap each with a piece of bacon. Pop a toothpick in to secure it and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
Bake in a 400 degree oven until the cheese begins to melt, about 5-7 minutes. Amazing isn’t a strong enough word for how these taste.
Spicy Keto Chips
These savory treats are so simple you’re going to make them all the time.
You’ll need some pre-packaged, thin squares of cheese. Use any you like, but sharp cheddar is especially great in this recipe.
Place them on a sheet of parchment paper and make sure they aren’t touching. Add a drop or two (not too much or you’ll wind up with cheese mush) of Tabasco Sauce on top.
Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 15 minutes and let cool - if you can possibly stand to wait.
Keto Crepes
That’s right. I said crepes!
Who knew that 4 ounces of softened cream cheese and 4 eggs could create something so mouthwatering?
Blend the cream cheese and eggs until smooth. When a drop of water will sizzle on your hot frying pan or griddle, it’s ready to go. Drop 2 TBSP of the mixture on the hot pan, cook it just until it’s golden, flip it, and let it cook on the other side.
These cook quickly and they are bit fragile to flip. Having said that, the results are worth getting the hang of it. A little sugar-free syrup or a light dusting of cinnamon and you’re ready to go.
