Pixar Coco's Movie Review
Pixar's Coco is a movie of family, tradition, passion, love and following your heart. The most important thing that you will need to know going into this movie is that you will want as many members of your family as you can sitting with you and you will need a box of tissues. Pixar's Coco is a beautiful story with so much heart. Kids and adults both will come out of this movie moved, entertained and motivated to share stories of their deceased family.
You can't help but hold your breath when you first take in the beauty of this film. The bright colors and the look and feel of every scene is breathtaking. I am in awe of the beauty that artists can make when creating the film. You will wish that you could have a remote in your hand to pause every scene to take in the little details. Pixar's Coco beautifully captures the Day of the Dead culture and invites those that aren't familiar with it to understand and fall in love with the meaning.
As you learn from the trailer, Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz and it driven by his passion for music. This movie centers around beautiful music and the story of doing what you love and following your passion. The soundtrack to this movie is beautiful and it will make everyone want to pick up an guitar and play along.
The importance of Family is universal. Putting family first, remembering family and being their for family is something that every person can relate to and understand. There are so many feelings involved around Family and Pixar's Coco beautifully takes you through a journey of the importance of family, tradition and being remembered. It is impossible to leave this film wanting to hug your family and talk about the ancestors you love.
True to Pixar style, Pixar's Coco is an absolute masterpiece. You will laugh, cry and leave the theater feeling inspired. I love that it invites you into a culture of love and family and fills you with so much gratitude for your family and those that came before us. The bright colors, the upbeat music and story is fun and perfect for family of all ages. The creators of Pixar's Coco wanted this to be a movie that everyone would love so they took special care and consideration in making sure the characters were created in a fun, beautiful way where kids would not be scared. I have no concern taking any of my kids to this movie and am very excited for opening day.Disney/Pixar’s COCO will be in theaters November 22nd.
Hi, my name is Melissa! I live in Spanish Fork, Utah. I'm happily married to Rob, and together we have five wonderful kids. Our family loves to embark on adventures, often in our RV, exploring the great outdoors. I'm an avid reader and a big fan of Hallmark movies – they always have a way of lifting my spirits. Hiking is another passion of mine; there's nothing like the tranquility of nature. I have a sweet tooth for chocolate and a love for Mexican food, both of which make life a little more delicious. In my downtime, I enjoy playing games with my family, creating memories and sharing laughter. Life is an adventure, and I'm here to enjoy every moment of it!
