Hi! My name is Melissa and I am the owner and writer of asparkleofgenius.com. I have been married for 18 years to my amazing husband, Rob. He has helped on A Sparkle of Genius as our expert on Dads reviews and movies. We have five kids and two dogs. We currently are living in Spanish Fork, Utah but one day hope to own a cabin in the Mountains!
I started blogging back in 2007 with a personal photography blog. I had just started a new photography class and I fell in love with my Canon camera. At this time, I did a “Photo a Day” blog where I shared by favorite photo every day.
In 2011 I started review blogging part time for a friend and quickly learned that it was something that I enjoyed so I started the blog MomsReview4You. I worked on product reviews for many years and love working with brands, traveling to events and meeting new people.
In 2015 I decided to take MomsReview4You to the next level. This included recipes, crafts and doing more travel. I also rebranded at this time, because A Sparkle of Genius. I felt like under this name it would allow me to do more than only reviews.
This opened up many great doors for me. I had the opportunity to work with many of my dream brands, meet incredible people, as well as having been featured on many great sites. I feel very blessed for the opportunities that I have had.
