I don’t know about you, but when my kids come home from school, the first thing they are looking for is an after school snack. They always want to go all grand and cook a full meal and I always have to remind them that this is just a SNACK and not a MEAL. Dinner will be here soon!
Here is a fun snack that we love. I will warn you, it is REALLY complicated to make and takes hours. Okay fine. It is just about as easy as it comes. I like that though. Me and quick and easy to make recipes are friends.
What you need for this Back to School Snack
1. Put peanut butter on one side of two crackers. ( this holds everything in place)
2. On one cracker, add a banana slice on top of the peanut butter.
3. On the other cracker, add a small scoop of jam. We used raspberry.
4. Put the cracker together.
6. Stack and Enjoy.
I did not add peanut butter between the stacks. It looks fun all stacked up, but easiest to eat as individual cracker sandwiches.
Happy Back to School!
