Moana is probably one of my all time favorite Disney movies. I grew up in Hawaii, so they ocean, hula dancing and island cultures speaks to me. The story has so much heart, the look and design is beautiful, the music is wonderful and I love the growth the characters make in the story. This is a fantastic family friendly movie that deserves to be in every home!

I love all of the different characters in Moana. They all have such great strength of character that sets them apart from others. Everything from the crazy Hei Hei, the wisdom of her grandmother, the stubbornness of her Father all the way to the strength of Moana. I love the interactions of the characters and how together they bring strength to each other. It really shows the importance of having faith in the abilities of family members and encouraging them to follow their heart.

The music of Moana is so much fun. There are songs that pull at your heart stings and songs that make you laugh. All of which my kids know every word of and sing again and again! It is so much fun to watch the movie with them and see their excitement when one of their favorite songs come on and they jump up and sing along. I love movies that my 5 year old and 14 year old equally enjoy and Moana is a favorite of both of theirs!

The colors, design and look of this movie is amazing. I am in awe at all of the different scenes and the beauty that the artists are able to create. Their talents is incredible and the movie as a whole is an absolute masterpiece to watch. The music and the art really set this movie apart as being such a great family film.
Moana Special Features
I love the special features. When we are finished with a movie, we always watch the special features as a family. My kids favorite parts are the short films and deleted scenes, but I love seeing the behind the scenes of making the movie. I love learning what it takes to make a movie from start to finish and hear the passion from those that put so much into making it. I always find that I love movies more after watching the special features because I see all the heart that went in to it. In the special features on the Disney Moana Blu-ray you will find:
