Even if you love everything Baymax, here are 8 things you may not have known about Disney's Big Hero 6 the Series.

Baymax and text I am a huge Disney fan. I love every Disney movie they make. I love every Pixar movie. Number one on the top of my Disney movie list has always been Big Hero 6. I loved Big Hero 6. I cried through Big Hero 6. I still cry every time I watch it because the story is phenomenal with so much heart. You may have heard me squeal when I found out they were making a Big Hero 6 Series because that meant that Baymax would live on. I love that it is a series that I can watch with my kids and we will both enjoy.

Baymax Returns

"“Baymax Returns” – Set in the fictional city of San Fransokyo, 14-year-old tech genius Hiro begins school as the new prodigy at San Fransokyo Institute of Technology and sets off to rebuild Baymax. However, his overconfidence and penchant for taking shortcuts leads him and the newly minted Big Hero 6 team – Wasabi, Honey Lemon, Go Go and Fred – into trouble."

When I was in Los Angeles, we had the opportunity to screen Baymax returns. It is so good. I am so excited to see it. Baymax returns is a one-hour series premiere that airs Monday, November 20 on Disney XD. This will then be followed by the series.

8 things you may not have known about Disney's Big Hero 6 the Series

While I was in Los Angeles, I had the opportunity to  have a“Big Hero 6 The Series” Q&A with Ryan Potter, Executive Producers Mark McCorkle, Bob Schooley and Nick Filippi. This was our chance to sit down and learn everything about the upcoming series. Here are 8 facts that I learned from this interview.

  1. When making Big Hero 6, they depend on the opinions of all of their actors because they feel that the actors "know" their characters best and they want to write what is best for each character.

  2. Stan Lee will be seen again in the series!!

  3. Big Hero 6 the Series was made in traditional hand drawn animation.

  4. You will want to watch closely when you watch Baymax Returns because there is a lot of foreshadowing for the series. It will be fun to go back and watch it again and again to see what hints the episode gave.

  5. Big Hero 6 the Series is important because it portrays science as a positive thing and that being smart is cool. This is a lesson that they want kids to learn from watching it.A group of people standing in a room

  6. In voice recording, almost every actor records individually and from different locations around the United States. It rare for actors to record together.

  7. In this series, they will introduce both male and female villains.

  8. They have already recorded 30 episodes. So there is a lot of really fun Big Hero 6 to look forward to.

I am so excited for Baymax Returns and for The Big Hero 6 Series. I love the heart behind the story and the important lessons of family, working hard and education. I love that my kids can see and feel important things while watching along. I hope you will join me for this one-hour series premiere on Monday, November 20 (8:00 – 9:00 P.M. EDT) on Disney XD.
