Every year around September first the holiday cooking begins and doesn't seem to end until after the New Year. I love making Frozen Pumpkin Pie. I love fall and I love eating fall flavors, but sometimes my waist line and holiday baking don't agree. It can get discouraging getting to the new year and realize that you snacked too much. It is important to be to eat healthy and take care of my body that I love to bake some of my favorite wholesome snacks. Ever since I was little, my mom would make me a frozen pie for the holidays. It was one of my favorite treats that I always looked forward to. It wasn't until I became a mom myself that I realized that my favorite pie was a better-for-you wholesome treat!
My mom would make these with a large pie crust but I found that I prefer to make them with mini pies because they look cute if you are serving at a holiday party. Plus, they are already portioned out into individual sized pies so when you are looking to grab a delicious sweet treat at the end of the day, you can grab one mini Frozen Pumpkin Pie. They are so fast and easy to make which makes this wholesome snack a winner!
