Four tips to prepare for a newborn baby swaddled in a blanket and wearing a striped hat, sleeping peacefully.I have been a new mom four times now. It really is amazing to me because it seems like every time that I was a new mom things were different. My babies were different, they responded to different things and the products available to me have changed. My youngest is 4 years old and now that I am expecting my 4th baby so many years later I feel a little anxious to what things are going to be like. I know that a lot has changed in four years. Thankfully, with the internet, blogs, Pinterest, Facebook and more we have the tools at our hands to help prepare us for these situations that make us nervous. I want my baby to be healthy and I want everything thing to go smoothly so I have come up with Four tips to prepare for a new baby.

1. Rest-  Everyone knows that once your baby has come, rest is hard to find. It is so difficult to go into a hard situation already exhausted. You know your body best, but if you need a break when you are pregnant, it is okay. Your body needs rest. It is okay to take a nap. You need to take care of yourself so you can eventually take care of your baby.

2. Ask for help- This is a hard one for many people. It is not easy to ask for help, but I know that we all wish that people would ask us for help when they need it. Pregnancies are really difficult for me. I spend much of the pregnancy really sick and I need others. I have to ask for help. It doesn't mean you are weak if you have to ask for help. Everyone has a time in their life when they need help.

3. Exercise-  If you are able to exercise during your pregnancy, it is really good. Even if you can go for a daily walk. This helps with energy, strength, mood and more. I have found that when I am able to spend a pregnancy where I have worked out, my body has more energy when baby comes.

4. Prepare-  Look online, talk to new moms and figures out what your need for your  new baby. Order the things that you will want before the baby comes so you can be organized and ready. Items like diapers are good to stock up on because you use a lot more than you think!
