Crockpot Queso Dip

This queso blanco cheese dip recipe is perfect for a game day snack or an appetizer for an event. 

Seriously, does it get any better than cheese, more cheese, jalapeños and green chilies??? These are some of my favorite flavor combinations. I have been notified by many of my readers that they love this recipe because the flavor combination works together to perfectly.

Your guests will love it and you won't even have to tell them how easy it was to make. Although, they will probably be begging you for the recipe, so I am sure you will be telling them and they will be very impressed with this easy Queso blanco recipe.

Does this queso dip recipe save? Yes! Put leftovers in a Tupperware and refrigerate until you are ready to eat it again.

How do you reheat queso blanco dip? You can reheat in your crockpot if you want, but I prefer to reheat over stovetop or in the microwave.

Can I double this recipe? Yes, depending on the size of your crock pot, you can double or triple this recipe. I would recommend at least doubling it if you are inviting guests over so you don't run out.

Can I use tub cream cheese? Yes, any kind of regular cream cheese works perfectly.

What if I don't like jalapeños? No worries! Jalapeños are optional!!

What if I don't like Cilantro? Cilantro is also optional, but it really tastes great with them added.

Ingredients:

  • 1 block regular cream cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes (8 oz.)
  • 1 pound white american cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes  (I got this in the deli)
  • 1 Tablespoon salted butter
  • 1 (4 ounce) can diced green chilies
  • 1/2 Tablespoon jalepenos, chopped fine (optional)
  • 3-4 Tablespoons milk
  • 2 Tablespoons cilantro, chopped fine (optional)
  • Serve with Tortilla Chips

Directions:

  • Superbowl Crockpot Queso DipIn a greased crockpot combine cream cheese, american cheese, butter, green chiles and jalepenos.
  • Cover and cook on low heat for 1 hour. Stir the mixture until well mixed, then add a tablespoon of milk at a time until you reach the desired consistency. Cook for another 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted and combined.

Right before your party, pour your Queso Blanco dip into and bowl and serve with Tortilla Chips. I would recommend keeping leftovers in crockpot and refill bowl as needed so your dip stays warm.

Ingredients
