My kids love Halloween time. This time of year is spent having holiday parties and celebrations. Adding a spooky nature to those celebrations makes them extra fun. Ever since my son was little we have had the tradition of making Cinnamon Monkey Brain Bread for Halloween. I guess it has something to do with the Halloween holiday, or maybe it is because Monkey Bread looks slimy, but my son always called it Monkey Brain Bread. The name stuck, so every time when we are asked to bring something to a Halloween party, its a no-"brainer"-- we bring Monkey Brain Bread.

We have a Walmart that just opened up in our city! Isn't that great? It is our go-to-shop for all things Halloween shopping. My daughter and I stopped by Walmart to pick up ingredients to make our Cinnamon Monkey Brain Bread. I love about this recipe because is that it is really fast and easy to make but also has limited and easy to find ingredients. We found our Pillsbury Grands!® and Walmart and we made sure and picked up a few extras because we love their Biscuits in bread form, dessert form and every form in between!

Ingredients for baking arranged on a countertop, including sugar, buttery spread, and chocolate chips with Cinnamon Monkey Brain Bread dough in the background.Cinnamon Monkey Brain Bread is super easy to make and only uses 5 ingredients. Naturally, you can substitute the cinnamon chips for chocolate chips, nuts, raisins, or leave them out. We love adding Cinnamon Chips because it is a perfect flavor for fall.

2 packs Pillsbury Grands!®
1/2 cup butter

Directions

How to make cinnamon Chinese spring rolls. 1. Open both packages of Pillsbury Grands!® and cut them into four pieces. I have found that a pizza cutter cuts them the easiest.

2. Add sugar to a ziplock bag. Add Pillsbury Grands!® to ziplock bag. Seal and shake until completely covered.

My little boy who came up with Cinnamon Monkey Brain Bread is now almost a teenager and still the tradition stands. This is fun for us because it is a recipe that even my four year old daughter can enjoy making. Fall is such a fun time to celebrate family and enjoy traditions and I love our family Monkey Brain Bread tradition. I recommend making this immediately before going to a party though, because it is delicious served warm. Plus, once you start eating it is impossible to stop! It is THAT good.
