In a saucepan add the apples, sugar, cinnamon sticks, whole allspice, rosemary, and cloves.
Fill with enough water to cover the apples.
Bring to a boil and let cook for 1 hour.
Reduce to medium heat and let simmer for 1 more hour.
Strain and transfer to a pitcher.
Serve into tall glasses garnish with apple slices.
