Almond Honey Pie

Ingredients

Crust

  • Cups flour
  • ½ Butter stick
  • 1 Tsp salt
  • Tbsp cold water
  • 1 Tsp cinnamon
  • 1 Tsp allspice

Filling

  • Cups honey
  • 1 Cup almonds
  • 1 Tsp cinnamon
  • 1 Tsp vanilla
  • 1 Tsp allspice
  • 2 Eggs

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a pie dish and set aside.
  • Combine all the crust ingredients in a food processor and pulse until obtaining thick dough. Press into the pie dish and bake for 18-20 minutes or until done.
  • Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium heat toast the almonds with the cinnamon and allspice. Incorporate the honey, vanilla, and 2 eggs beaten and stir until combined. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and pour into the pie crust. Let it set for 2-3 hours in the fridge.
  • Serve and enjoy.
