I love summertime. I love the freedom of being able to go to a near by park, go to a museum or do a craft in the backyard. I love sleeping in and staying up late. I am a stay at home mom, so summertime brings so much more freedom than during the school year. My kids love playing in the backyard, so I have a great excuse to sit on our patio chair and read a good book. Summertime is not all sunshine though, because for some reason, too much freedom brings the chorus of "I'm bored", from the kids. How can someone get bored during summertime? I do not know, but this is when I kick it into high mom gear and try to come up with some fun summertime ideas.

The problem with crafts though, is they tend to get a little bit messy. One of our favorite crafts that we just did was paint flower plants for the backyard.

The kids each got to paint their flower pot and then plant their very own flower. This was very special for them because of the creative touch they were able to make to their pot. Now they each get to take care of their own flower and keep our backyard looking nice.

Assorted P&G Household Needs cleaning products on display for sale, including air fresheners, laundry pods, and paper towels.

One problem though!! Crafts like these are fun, but messy. Somehow, everything from their head to their toes gets messy. Including their clothes. This is when I run to my local Costco for all of my P&G Household Needs. Our Bounty Advanced Paper Towels keep their hands clean while they craft and Tide Pods and Downy Unstopables keep their clothes looking nice all summer long. These are brands that I trust in helping us with our messiest messes. To me, it is the little details in P&G Household Needs products that make them different from other brands. What are your kids favorite summertime crafts?
