Halloween Slime

(This makes a LOT of slime!  You can make one batch of the clear slime and divide into 2 portions tinting each one with paint if you would like to make a smaller batch.)

Ingredients

  • 1 airtight container
  • 2 5 oz bottles of clear glue
  • 1 cup water divided into ½ cup portions
  • 1 tsp baking soda divided into ½ tsp portions
  • 2 tbsp contact solution divided into 1 tbsp portions
  • Acrylic paint - orange and black
  • Orange sequins
  • black sequins
  • Fine orange glitter
  • Fine black glitter
  • Small bowl

Instructions

  • In a bowl, pour the entire 5 oz bottle of clear glue.
  • Add in ½ cup of water.
  • Add in ½ tsp baking soda and stir.
  • Squirt in some orange acrylic paint until the shade of your liking forms.  Stir well.
  • Sprinkle in some orange sequins and glitter.  Stir.
  • Add 1 tbsp contact solution.  It will instantly begin to form.
  • It will be STICKY!  Don’t panic! Mix the solution in the bowl until it starts to form.
  • Knead the slime until it is no longer sticky.
  • Set aside in a bowl.
  • Repeat the process, except adding black paint and sequins instead of orange.
  • When you are playing with them, the colors will begin to blend together creating beautiful swirls.
  • Eventually the colors will fully blend together to create a perfect pumpkin orange color!
  • Store in an airtight container
