King of Christmas Tree Review: Is it worth the Money?

There is something about putting up the Christmas tree that makes the whole house feel a little more magical! I love the twinkling lights, the memories that come with unpacking our favorite ornaments, and that cozy feeling of sitting in the living room with the Christmas tree glowing. This year, I was especially excited to set up our new tree, so I’m sharing my honest King of Christmas tree review and why I’m so happy with our beautiful 7-foot Tribeca Blue Spruce!

Life has been BUSY lately! Between overtime at work, the kids’ end-of-school activities, and everything else that comes with family life, it feels like there are never enough hours in the day. I was feeling the stress of life and really needed something to brighten the mood. Christmas lights ALWAYS does that! 

I couldn’t wait to put up our new Christmas tree, but I also knew I didn’t have a lot of extra time to spend assembling it.

I wanted the beautiful tree, the cozy Christmas lights, and all that holiday magic. I just didn’t want a complicated project to get there!

Thankfully, this tree was SO easy to put together. Yay!

Why I Chose a King of Christmas Tree

When I started looking for a new Christmas tree, I wanted something that looked beautiful and full, with realistic branches and plenty of lights.

I love the look of a real tree, but I also appreciate the convenience of an artificial tree that we can enjoy year after year.

King of Christmas has so many gorgeous trees! From the traditional King Noble Fir to a snowy flocked tree, there are styles for just about every Christmas decorating theme.

They offer trees in various heights, whether you’re looking for a larger tree for a room with tall ceilings or smaller tabletop trees for a cozy corner.

You can even choose between pre-lit options and unlit versions if you prefer adding your own lights.

I was drawn to the 7-foot Tribeca Blue Spruce Artificial Christmas Tree with 550 Warm White LED Lights.

The blue-green branches are absolutely beautiful! They have that soft, natural spruce color that looks so pretty with warm Christmas lights.

I wanted a realistic tree that would look beautiful even before adding ornaments, and this one definitely does!

One of the things I appreciate about this tree is that it comes with everything needed to get started.

Inside the box, you’ll find:

• Three labeled tree sections (A, B, and C)
• A sturdy folding metal stand
• A Christmas tree storage bag
• A pair of protective gloves
• Lighting controls
• Assembly instructions

Can we talk about the storage bag?

I love that they include one! If you’ve ever tried to squeeze an artificial Christmas tree back into its original box after Christmas, you know exactly why this is such a nice bonus.

I’m already appreciating the thought of having a bag ready when it’s time to pack everything away next year.

The pair of gloves are another thoughtful addition. They make shaping all those branches much more comfortable. Plus you look festive in the process! 

How Easy Is a King of Christmas Tree to Assemble?

This was honestly one of my favorite things about the entire experience!

I was so excited to put up our new tree, but with our busy schedule, I wasn’t looking forward to spending hours figuring everything out.

And guess what?

It was incredibly easy!

You simply open the metal stand, insert section A, add section B, and finish with section C.

The hinged branches naturally fall into place as you assemble each section.

That’s it!

The best part is that the LED lights are already attached to the branches. The Power Pole technology connects the lights through the center pole, so there’s no complicated process of connecting strands between sections.

No untangling Christmas lights. No wrapping lights around the tree. No spending forever trying to get everything evenly spaced. YES, I  said NO UNTANGLING CHRISTMAS LIGHTS. Seriously, the best news. 

I was thrilled!

The Secret to a Beautiful, Full Christmas Tree

Now, there is one VERY important thing I want to mention.

You absolutely need to take the time to fluff and smooth out the branches!

When you first assemble an artificial Christmas tree, the branches have been compressed for shipping. So when you first pull everything out of the box, it might not look quite like the gorgeous tree you imagined.

Don’t worry! This is where the magic happens.

I started at the bottom and worked my way up, gently separating the smaller branches and spreading them in different directions.

Some branches needed to be lifted, others needed to be pulled forward, and some needed to be spread out to fill in little gaps.

I also made sure to smooth out the branches so everything had a beautiful, natural shape.

And WOW, what a difference!

You can see in my pictures how the tree transforms as the branches are shaped.

My biggest tip is to step back every so often and look at the tree from a distance. It’s much easier to see where you need to fill in a little space.

Don’t forget to spread out the branches closer to the center pole, too!

I know it’s tempting to rush through this part because you’re excited to start decorating, but trust me, it’s worth taking your time.

This is what gives the tree that gorgeous, full appearance!

The Warm White Christmas Lights Are Beautiful!

Oh, I LOVE the lights on this tree!

My Tribeca Blue Spruce has 550 warm white LED lights, and they give it the prettiest cozy glow.

There is just something about warm white Christmas lights that makes everything feel peaceful and inviting.

The tree also has different settings for the lights, including lighting effects and brightness options.

Personally, I love the classic warm white glow.

Even without a single ornament, the tree looks beautiful!

I love being able to turn on the Christmas tree lights in the evening and enjoy that warm, magical feeling they bring to our home.

Sometimes the simplest Christmas decorations are my favorite.

Decorating Our King of Christmas Tree

One of the things I love about the Tribeca Blue Spruce is how versatile it is.

The blue-green branches would look beautiful with traditional red and gold decorations, elegant champagne colors, or even white and silver holiday decor.

You could decorate it with luxurious ornaments, pretty ribbons, natural pine cones, and one of those beautiful cozy tree skirts.

And of course, I love mixing in all the sentimental ornaments we’ve collected over the years.

For me, decorating the Christmas tree isn’t just about making it look pretty.

It’s about the memories.

It’s about pulling out ornaments that remind us of family vacations, special moments, and Christmases when the kids were little.

If you’re decorating with heavy ornaments, I’d recommend placing them on the sturdier inner branches for extra support.

Honestly, though, this tree is already the star of the show without any decorations! We always  decorate our Christmas tree with ornaments the day after Thanksgiving. This is one of my favorite days!

Is King of Christmas Worth the Money?

If you’re reading this King of Christmas review because you’re trying to decide whether to purchase one, I can tell you that I’ve been really impressed with my Tribeca Blue Spruce.

I love how easy it was to assemble, how beautiful and full the branches look, and especially those warm white lights.

The one thing I would mention is that you do need to spend some time shaping the branches. It’s not a tree that comes out of the box looking perfectly full.

But that’s normal for artificial Christmas trees, and the finished result is absolutely worth the effort. It only took me about 15 minutes to shape the branches.

Since this is my first season with the tree, I can’t compare its durability to last year or tell you how it will hold up after several years of storage. But based on my experience so far, I’m really happy with it!

Are King of Christmas trees easy to store?

I really do love this tree so much!

And I think what makes me appreciate it even more is how easy it was to bring a little Christmas magic into our home during such a busy season.

I didn’t have hours to spend on a complicated setup, but I still wanted something beautiful this holiday season. 

And that’s exactly what I got.

I love the blue-green branches, the full shape, and those gorgeous warm white lights.
