I partnered with Harmony Books to share about #WELLTH with you!

Sometimes, life can get hard.  Some times we get stuck in the rut of a 9 to 5 job and want something to be different.  If only I made more money I could do this.  If only I made more money, I could do that.  Money would make me so happy.  I’m sure that we have all been there and had those thoughts.  I know that I have.  In the past months, my husband and I have done a lot of talking on this topic and wondering how we can get from point A to point B.  Because money is the solve all– right?  Our discussion literally surrounded money.

Money talk leads to a lot of stress and frustration in a marriage.  It wasn’t until I open up my copy of  WELLTH: How I Learned to Build a Life, Not a Résumé By Jason Wachob that I suddenly realized that our conversations for the past months were completely wrong.  Our focus was completely wrong.  I focus would not bring us happiness.  It is being WELL in Wellth that brings happiness.

“Eat. Move. Work. Believe. Explore. Breathe. Connect. Love. Heal. Thank. Ground. Live. Laugh.” Aren’t these great words? There is something happy and freeing about each and every one of these words.  Words that sounds happy.  Words that feel like they can bring happiness.  Each one of these words is the title of a different chapter of the book.  Each chapter teaches us about a “new life currency to build on, one that is steeped in wellbeing—Wellth.” Doesn’t focusing on Wellbeing make so much more sense?  Happiness falls into place when your focus is correct.
