For as long as I can remember, chili has been one of my go-to meals.
Whether it's game day, a cozy family dinner, or simply busy weeknight, there's something incredibly comforting about a warm bowl of chili.

Begin by heating a large pot over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Toss in the chopped onion. Cook until translucent and soft, which usually takes a few minutes.
Add the minced garlic and continue to sauté for another two minutes.
Stir in the chili powder, oregano, ground cumin, cayenne pepper, and green chiles.
Let these ingredients meld together for a couple of minutes. Pour in the chicken broth and increase the heat to bring the mixture to a boil.
