Almond Honey Pie

This is as if the traditional pie we all know got a total makeover and overhaul that took it to the next foodie level!

The crust is flaky and buttery and, oh, so flavorful on its own, while the filling is all the marvelous things a good filling should be.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a pie dish and set it aside.

Combine all the crust ingredients in a food processor and pulse until you obtain a thick dough. Press into the pie dish and bake for  18–20 minutes, or until done.

Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium heat, toast the almonds with the cinnamon and allspice.

Incorporate the honey, vanilla, and 2 eggs beaten, and stir until combined. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Remove from the heat and pour into the pie crust. Let it set for 2-3 hours in the fridge.
