Being a mom of four, safety is so important. When I hop in my car and strap my kids in I want to make sure that I did everything in my power to keep them safe. There are so many ways that I can help keep them safe beyond just seat belting them into approved car seats. I can take precautions needed to make sure that I can drive as safe as possible. Just because we are doing everything that we feel is possible, that doesn’t mean that we will be safe from a car accident. The PAPAGO! dash cam P2pro is a really neat dash cam that takes non stop video safeguard yourself against any insurance fraud cases or potential accidents.
About the Video Footage:

You will find a great menu system and Quick Start booklet that will help you set up your dash cam easily and quickly. It auto turns on when you turn on your car so you don’t have to worry about wasting space on your memory card or getting un-needed footage of your garage door. 🙂 I was surprised by how easy it was to use and set up. We had the opportunity to go on a long car ride for my daughters dance competition. We traveled to Saint George, Utah so found this to be the opportunity to really get an idea of how the P2 pro dash cam worked.
One of the features that I find most important and helpful on the Papago! dash cam P2pro is the FCWS, or the Frontal crash warning system. You can find the setting above under Driving Safety and you will be notified by a beep when you are too close to the car in front of you. Getting too close to the car in front of you is often when accidents happen. Receiving this warning helps you to keep a safer distance and help you stay safe and keep your kids safe.
As you can see from the photo above, this dash cam has many great features to help keep you safe. The footage you see on screen is what is being recorded for you. It is automatically saved in 5 minute blocks of footage to easily find what you need. The P2Pro has a Built-in G-sensor supports video file backup when an accident happens. Luckily we didn’t have to test the product in an accident, but it did help keep us safe in many ways.Another great features is LDWS, or Lane departure warning system. This features notifies you when you leave your lane. I think this features is fantastic for long car rides or when a driver may be getting drowsy (I don’t recommend driving drowsy). You receive an alert as pictured above when you leave your lane helping you to quickly retain control and get back into your lane and keeping your free from accidents.
Here are the great features of the PAPAGO! dash cam P2pro as shared on their website:

We were impressed with the product from beginning to end. It was easy to use and we really felt like our long car ride was safer because we were receiving warnings and alerts when we might not have been driving as safely as we could have. I recommend this product because I feel that it keeps you accountable on the road from your own choices and safer from the choices of others. Having driven using the product for hours, I loved that we received a Driving Fatigue Alert reminding us to take a break. You can set a timer for how many hours you want to drive before this alert goes off. Often in cars, I think people push themselves too far and this can result in a car accident. We need to do everything as parents to keep our kids safe and make good choices for the safety of others.
Your videos are stored on a memory card so if needed you can pull the feed and have the footage that you need. I was surprised when watching the videos that not only do you have a good picture, but it also has sound! 🙂 Another fun benefit, is if you go on a trip to a beautiful place, like Zions National Park, you get an amazing video like this:
