I had the delicious opportunity to do a review for Nature’s Path. I really enjoyed looking around their website because I can tell that Nature’s Path is a wonderful company.

About Nature’s Path

“We have more than a company history. We have a family tree.

We’re a family of organic farmers and their ilk, descended from more farmers and more ilk. The seed of our company was planted back in the ‘30s, when Rupert Stephens inherited the family farm: Mountain Valley Farm, 89 acres of hard living, a place to grow field berries and a family.”

“We’re not your typical food company.

Our products are sold in grocery stores all over the continent, on the shelf next to a lot of other brands. Some of them are even organic brands. But there’s one thing that makes us stand out from the crowd. Our values as a company come from our values as people first, and they’re ideals we hold near to our hearts. Read on:

  • We are fiercely independent: Arran and Ratana built this family company from the fertile, organic ground up. We haven’t “sold out”—and we don’t intend to.
  • We make organic food because we believe deeply in sustainability: Arran grew up hearing his father say these words often “Always leave the soil better than you found it.” It’s become one of our guiding principles, and it affects every element of our business today.
  • We are creative and a little quirky: We belly dance at work. We spend break time digging in the corporate garden. We sing in meetings. A lot.
  • We believe in humanity: We believe if you treat people well, they will treat you well in return. So that’s how we lead our lives and run our business. Our people seem pretty happy with that.
  • We really, really love food: seriously. We bake in our spare time. We spend our winters dreaming up all the wonderful recipes we’re going to cook up with our summer gardens. We like to stop by the test kitchen—often. And we can’t stop snacking on cereal and granola bars and toaster pastries around here. You’re welcome to come by and try some.”

I love that as a company they call themselves creative and quirky. It sounds like a really fun company and I think often those are some of the best kinds. When they are loyal and passionate about their company, they are going to share those values and live those values when interacting with their customers. I like finding great companies like Natures Path.

We had the chance to review three different products.
Flax Plus® Maple Pecan Crunch
Toasted crunchy flax flakes are combined with a breakfast granola made of golden-hued, real maple syrup and roasted pecans.

Something funny about this cereal. I didn’t get a chance to try it. 🙂 My husband isn’t a very big cereal fan but when he tried these, he thought they were delicious. He stole the box and took it to work with him! That says a lot for a cereal! He has asked me many time to buy it again for him! I love breakfast granola and I can imagine that it is delicious.

Lotta’ Apricotta Granola Bars
Real, organic ripe apricots, roasted chopped almonds and just the right amount of creamy yogurt make this bar yummy, fresh and fruity. This is our new staff favorite! And….All our bars now come in the EnviroBox, which is 36% smaller box than a standard 6.2 ounce box.

These were delicious! They were probably the yummiest granola bars that I have had! The best part is that they are packed with wholesome, organic ingredients! I found that they weren’t too sweet and were packed with a great fruity flavor. I will buy these again and am excited to try them in the other flavors.

Lemur Peanut Choco Drizzle Crispy Rice Bars
Lemur Peanut Choco Drizzle Crispy Rice Bars are a delectable pairing of chunky peanut butter and peanuts with chocolate drizzle resulting in a fun and yummy flavor with huge kid appeal.

My kids LOVED these! (Okay fine, I loved them too!) They have a great yummy flavor that kids love but they are such a great healthier alternative to rice crispy treats. Nature’s Path also offers them in a snack size option for a healthier alternative than candy for trick or treaters. These bars are gluten free, certified organic and provide a healthier alternative to the traditional Halloween fare. I think this is a wonderful idea!!
I give Nature Path’s snacks an A+. We LOVED every single item that we tried. We were very excited to find that you can buy Nature’s Path at your local grocery store. We also saw a delicious Pumpkin Flax Plus granola at our local costco tonight that we are eager to try!!
