I had the opportunity to watch this event with my sister-in-laws, mother in-law and grandmother in-law.  It was funny enjoying delicious treats, as learning great tips!  We also made some fun Holiday Snowman Pancakes. 

 I received a Pancake Gifting Set which included pancake mix, and yummy ingredients like M&M’s, graham crackers and Craisins to make a wonderful gift idea using Ball® brand jars.  This gift is easy to do and fun to give.  All you do, is start with Krusteaz pancake mix and add in a layer of your favorite mix-ins and in a snap, you’ll have a colorful and creative layered gift! Add a rubber scrapper and a dish towel for the perfect gift.  


I decided to make pancakes at our event to showcase what you can do with your Pancake in a Jar.  It was fun using the mix to make delicious Krusteaz holiday pancakes! 


You can use your mix-ins of choice.  We used graham crackers, recess pieces, and cranberries.  We crushed up the graham crackers for the scarf, used cranberries for the face and recess pieces for the buttons.  These were a big hit.  

Snowman Pancakes
Catherine McCord,  is a blogger at weelicious and has released this wonderful One family, One Meal cookbook that I received, as well as a variety of Krusteaz product such as buttermilk pancake, lemon mars, molten deep dish cookie, honey cornbread, sugar cookies and crumb cake.  These are all delicious, indulgent treats that are perfect for the holidays.

Krusteaz mixes are easy to use, taste delicious and are easy enough that the kiddos can join in on the fun. I love being able to get with my kids and bake.  They get so excited to help and we all have fun enjoying the yummy treat.  Here are some fantastic Weelicious recipes that you can make with Krusteaz product. 
Krusteaz Cornbread Stuffing on a Stick

Krusteaz Cornbread Stuffing on a Stick
Makes 4 dozen mini muffins
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 22 minutes
Difficulty: Medium

Ingredients
1 tablespoon butter or oil
3 links fully-cooked chicken apple sausage, diced, about 1 cup
1 small onion, diced, about 1 cup
4 stalks celery, diced, about 1 cup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 box Krusteaz Natural Honey Cornbread Mix
2/3 cup low fat or whole milk
1/3 cup melted butter or oil
1 large egg
1/2 cup dried cranberries

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400F.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage, onions, celery, and salt and sauté for 5 minutes, until soft. Remove from the heat and let cool for a few minutes.
3. In a bowl, combine the Honey Cornbread Mix, butter,milk, oil, and egg and stir until just combined.
4. Fold in the cooled sausage mixture and the cranberries. Spoon the batter into greased mini muffin cups and bake for 12 minutes, until golden brown.

Krusteaz Gingerbread Waffles with Cream Cheese Icing

Krusteaz Gingerbread Waffles with Cream Cheese Icing
Makes 8-10 waffles
Prep Time: 7 minutes
Total Time: 27 minutes
Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients
1 package Krusteaz Bakery Style Gingerbread Mix
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
1 cup whipped cream cheese, or regular cream cheese at room temperature
2 tablespoons honey

Directions
1. Preheat waffle iron.
2. In a bowl, combine the gingerbread mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs and mix well.
3. Allow batter to sit 5-10 minutes to thicken.
4. Pour batter into greased waffle iron, filling according to manufacturer’s
directions.
5. Cook for 5-6 minutes until golden, or follow manufacturer’s directions.
6. Remove to a cooling rack. Waffles will crisp as they cool.
7. In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese and honey, and serve with the
waffles.

Krusteaz PB&J Pancake Layer Cake

Krusteaz PB&J Pancake Layer Cake
Serves 8-10
Prep Time: 3 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Difficulty: Medium

Ingredients
5 cups Krusteaz Buttermilk Complete Pancake Mix
3 cups cold water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Peanut butter
Your favorite jam, jelly or preserves

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Spray a 13 x 18 x 1 inch baking sheet tray with oil, line it with parchment paper, and spray the parchment paper.
3. In a bowl, combine the pancake mix, water and vegetable oil, and stir to
combine. Some lumps are okay.
4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 24-26 minutes, until a
toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
5. Allow the cake to cool completely, remove from the pan, and slice into 4 equal pieces.
6. Frost a layer of cake with peanut butter and jelly, top with another piece of cake, and continue until you’ve used every piece of cake. Top with peanut butter and jelly. 

Crumb Cake Muffin Doughnuts

Crumb Cake Muffin Doughnuts 
Makes 12 doughnuts 
Prep Time: 2 minutes
Total Time: 28 minutes
Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients
1 box Krusteaz Cinnamon Crumb Cake Mix 
2/3 cup water 
1 large egg 

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350F. 
2. In a bowl, combine the cake mix, water and egg, keep the crumb topping aside. 
3. Pour the batter into a greased doughnut pan, filling about 3/4 full. 
4. Top with the crumb topping, and press the topping down into the batter. 
5. Bake for 22-26 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
