When I was at Blogher this year, I had the opportunity to stop by the Jimmy Dean booth and take the No Kid Hungry pledge.  Because of BlogHer attendees they surpassed their initial goal and collected over 1,100 pledges, connecting over 10,000 children with up to 10 breakfasts each! I love finding companies that truly feel it is important to help others.  There is so much need in the world that I am happy that I could do my part in something as simple as taking the No Kid Hungry Pledge.

I believe that no child in America should go hungry. By pledging today, I add my voice to the national movement of people committed to ending childhood hunger in America by 2015.
I pledge to do more than I ever thought I could to help children gain access to the healthy food they need to grow and thrive.
I will help make the invisible hunger visible for my neighbors, my family, and our local, state, and national leaders.
By uniting my voice with thousands of others, I believe that we can make No Kid Hungry a reality.

Did you know that nearly 1 in 4 children don’t know where their next meal will come from? The statistics are pretty shocking!  Jimmy Dean is working with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign to help end hunger in America by 2015.  What an impressive goal!  I know that I would love to help in any way I can.  Jimmy Dean has made it possible for you to also take the pledge!  All you need to do is enter your email address and zip code on their facebook page!  I encourage you to take the time to visit Jimmy Dean on facebook!

When I was at Blogher, I also had the opportunity to sample the Jimmy D’s Breakfast Minis and Griddle Sticks.  I was at Blogher with my husband and I think this was his favorite booth out of everyone at Blogher.  He thought that Griddle Sticks were delicious and insisted that we bought them as soon as we got home!  In fact, we have a freezer full of them because he loves them so much!  The Griddle Sticks are very delicious.  They are sausage wrapped in pancake.  They taste especially good if you dip them in syrup.  With my kids going back to school, I have found that we don’t always have as much time in the mornings as I would like to make breakfast.  It has been so nice to have Jimmy Dean breakfasts because they are delicious and very fast to make.  My kids favorites are the croissant breakfast sandwiches and the griddle sticks.  They are really convenient and perfect size for the kids breakfast. Here is Dads Corner review:

Who doesn’t love the smell of pancakes and sausage on the griddle in the morning.  It was always my favorite part of the weekend as a child, getting a needed break from the the cold cereal and milk routine.  Ever since my childhood I have loved breakfast, for me it’s the anytime meal.  Yet, like most people rushing off to work I find I don’t have time for breakfast.  The morning is a blur of chasing kids, getting myself ready, feeding the dogs, showering, and various other morning tasks that always seem to get in the way of eating.  And while I can make it with out a meal in the morning, who wants to?!  While I like cereal fine enough, I don’t love it enough to find time to grab a bowl when the morning gets crazy.  And then came Jimmy Dean and his awesome quick breakfast line up.  Griddle Sticks and Croissant Breakfast Sandwiches are awesome.  I can just throw a griddle stick in the microwave for one minute and I have a pancake wrapped sausage for breakfast that was fast easy and delicious! The croissant breakfast sandwiches are equally awesome, the sausage patty is flavorful with a layer of egg and cheese on a soft croissant.  It is a delicious, easy, and fast way to start your day.

Jimmy Dean Breakfasts are easy, affordable, delicious and great for back to school!
