My kids have 2 weeks left of summer vacation before school starts up again.  They are so excited for a new school year.  They have loved shopping for school supplies, getting back packs, finding out their new teachers and getting ready.  It seems like all of this excitement makes the waiting time feel so much longer until school time starts.  With this brings a bit of the summer blues.  We have done lots of fun stuff this summer, but my kids are ready to get back to their routine and get back to school.

Sometimes these last few weeks are the hardest because they are starting to get bored of a not as structured summer and ready for something more to do.  Maybe your kids aren’t like mine, but when my kids get bored they get grumpy.  I love finding opportunities for them to Get Out and Create and finish out the summer fun and strong.

I had the opportunity to work with Crayola to help my kids to Get Out and Create.   The Crayola product, information, and additional gift pack have been provided by Crayola.  All opinions are my own.  I love Crayola.  I have used their products with my kids since they were tiny.  I love imagination, art, creativity and do-ing.  I love sitting them down with a new box of crayons or makers and see what they can create.  Each time it is different, special and wonderful.  Each time their confidence grows and they and create more detailed things as they try and succeed and love the whole process.

 I received the following items:

(1) Pack of Washable Sidewalk Chalk

                              (1) Color Wonder Mini Stow and Go–

(1) Color Wonder Mess-Free Glitter Paper and Markers

This Crayola items are great to kick-start my kids’ creative juices, by encouraging messy fun with easy clean-up. Does it get any better than messy fun with easy clean-up? Kids love to create, get messy and have no boundaries for their creativity.

Its funny how kids gravitate to different products.  My 4 year old loves to draw.  He has such a great imagination and is always drawing monsters, animals, or other scenes with great detail.  He loved the Color Wonder Mini Stow and Go because it gave him the freedom to create what he wanted how he wanted.  This product is great because it is the perfect size to keep in your diaper bag and use on the go.  I love Color Wonder because the markers work only on the special paper.  He can be as creative as he wants with now mess.  Here is some information about this product:

My daughter loves Disney Princesses, so the Color Wonder Mess-Free Glitter Paper set was perfect for her.  She doesn’t care as much about creative freedom.  She enjoys making things look beautiful.  She loves being able to color in pages because the end piece is dazzling, sparkly and beautiful.  This set is fun with the glittery paper because it adds an extra wow factor to the finished piece.  I don’t have to worry with this set because its mess-free and even my two year old can enjoy it and make masterpieces.   Here is some more information about this set:

Chalk is something that everyone loves.  From my 2 year old, up to my ten year old, they all could spend hours creating and drawing with chalk.  We have a concrete pad in our backyard that my kids love to fill up with letters to me, pictures and simple games like tic tac toes and hop scotch.  I think they love the large blank canvas that they can create in any way they want.

I love Sidewalk Chalk because not only is it bright and colorful, but they can create beautiful masterpieces, but then it is so easy to spray off of concrete so they can create again and again.  I feel like my kids are more creative when it comes to chalk and I think it is because their slate is so large that the possibilities are open and endless!  Here is some information about the Washable Sidewalk Chalk:
