Delicious Oven-Dried Apple Chips- Easy, Healthy and Delicious!

Delicious Oven-Dried Apple Chips
My husband has now officially lost 70 pounds using the amazing Favao lifestyle plan. This program has been incredible and has taught us what, when and how much we should eat. As part of this program we are always looking for great recipes that are yummy to eat. Since fruit is always such a healthy and delicious snack, we decided to dehydrate apples in the oven. These end up very crispy, kind of like an apple chip! 🙂
It worked best for me to slice my apple first. I know that some people core their apple first. I sliced my apple in thin slices and then used an orange juicer to make the holes. You could also use a knife, or small cookie cutter. 
I thought the juicer made such perfect holes without taking out too much apple. It was quick and easy to use, too!
I sprinkled 1 Tablespoon cinnamon mixed with 2 small packs of Stevia over all of the apple slices.
 
Here is a close up view for you. They already look yummy enough to eat!
 
 Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees. Notice, I put my apple slice on a wire rack for even cooking on both sides. Cook for 6-8 hours depending on the level of crispiness you desire.

We like ours really crispy, so we could for the full eight hours. They are perfect to keep in a small baggy in your purse so you have a quick and easy snack whenever you want it. They are sweet and full of flavor. The kids didn't want to stop eating them either!
