I think this is the fastest summer that we have had yet. It seems like school just ended and the summer adventures just started, but this week I registered my kids for their classes, went to Walmart for Back to School Shopping and met their teachers. Two weeks from today they go back to school. Sometime I wish I could close my eyes and go back in time because this year I will have a High Schooler. What!?!?! It seems crazy to say it because I really don’t feel old enough to have a kid in High School. Didn’t I just graduate…? Thankfully, Walmart has my back through my Back to School denial and helps me to get everything that I need.

Walmart has been our go to choice for Back to School shopping every since my oldest first needed school supplies. I love shopping for school supplies early because the shelves are always stocked full of all my favorite things. Crayons, pencils, notebooks, etc. Back to school shopping is so much fun! Often after I buy everything on my kids lists, I like to pick out something for myself. Usually a new pack of colored pencils to go with an adult coloring book. One of my kids favorite Back to School finds is Duct Tape– so they can customize the perfect Back to School Notebooks.

You can buy all of these supplies at Walmart and make their favorite notebook for each class. All you need is a notebook, duct tape, stickers, parchment paper, scissors and a pencil. Or to make it easier, alphabet stickers! To help make going back to school as stress free as possible, here are four ways that Walmart is the perfect Back to School Choice.

  1. Online Grocery Pickup: Walmart is keeping the math simple and the numbers big, subtracting an extra trip to stores. There are now hundreds of back-to-school staples available for Online Grocery Pickup shopping (a 150 percent increase*) so customers can stock their fridge with lunchroom favorites at the same time they shop for supplies and have them delivered right to their car. Walmart currently has more than 800 Online Grocery Pickup locations across the country.
  2. Pickup Today – Walmart has doubled the number of items available for same-day pickup,* including the top 400+ back-to-school items – so kids and college students can be at the top of the class in no time.
  3. “Back-to-School Helpers” – Walmart’s Holiday Helpers didn’t graduate after the holiday season – they’re helping for the first time this school year and are ready to assist customers to checkout, find the shortest lines and add any last-minute items they may have forgotten, so no one is unprepared when the bell rings.
  4. Shopping Lists in a Flash – Back-to-school shopping shouldn’t be rocket science. Walmart is integrating the popular resource, TeacherLists, into a dedicated back-to-school shopping destination that will enable customers to connect with classrooms to get school supply lists directly from teachers – so this isn’t a best guess supply list; it’s the real deal from the teachers themselves.

I love that Walmart has so many ways to shop so customers can choose when and how they want to shopping most conveniently fits into their schedule. And while I am in tears over sending my son to High School, he will go in style with a new backpack full of school supplies.
